November is National Adoption Month
Are You Considering Adoption, or Are You an Adoptive Family? Then you should know about the resources available to you in southeastern Wisconsin.

The Special Needs Adoption Network - a nonprofit organization that operates from the belief that all children, regardless of their needs, have the right to a permanent family. Since 1982, our mission has been to find permanence for all children who need a family and to help sustain adoptive families. To carry out this mission, the Adoption Network operates an extensive clearinghouse of adoption information and support. We also work directly with agencies and families to help secure homes for children.

The Special Needs Adoption Network helps adoption happen in Wisconsin! Kids need loving families to help them grow. From helping over one thousand children find forever adoptive families to the birthparent who calls thinking about adoption, we help people learn about adoption, make adoption connections and referrals, and provide the services and support after adoption to make adoption succeed for everyone. We work in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services, Division of Children and Family Services, who has given us long term support. Our wonderful cooperation partners, foundations and donors help us to bring a wide range of services and connections to individuals and families who are interested in exploring the world of adoption. Our services include Pre-Adoption Information, Recruitment Services for Waiting Children, and Post Adoption Services. Please come and visit us and our Family Resource Center - an extensive library of printed, audio, and video references.
